What a day - lovely. Got down there about 2pm due to the tides. Rigged 5m but was a bit overpowered and I wanted a smaller sail to try some things with - rigged the 4.5.

Tide graddully dropped and had some great wave riding, (yes frontside which is a miracle for me) close to the beach near the kiting area. As tide dropped further there was a huge rip and decided to bugger off to the sandbar. - Nice steep 3-4ft ramps. Some riding but nothing amazing (my abilty not the waves). A few stand up jet skies turned up to play in the waves. A bit unverving consdieirng theor machines weigh quite a bit. They soon buggered off.

A couple of guys wre going for forward and back loops. decided ive got nothing to lose as I had my helmet on. Apprached a 2ft reformed wave and just sheeted in as I was told. Whoooooeeeeeeee!! Big rush then quiet as I looked at my tail (I was also told to look behind me on take off) then big splash and my a4se hit the water - kind of waterstarterd out. I dont think it looked stylish but more of a roll than forward but well chuffed. Did about 5 in all with various outcomes one was a nasty back slap but was OK.

Well pleased - took some guts everytime. Tide dropped so much that the waves lost their appeal. Got off the water about 430-5ish - what a day. Hope the bank holiday happens.
